This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the wildly successful and critically lauded self-titled debut album from perennial classic-rock favorites, America. The album spawned two top-ten singles – “A Horse With No Name” and “I Need You” – and launched an enduring career based on radio-friendly folk rock punctuated by diverse and dynamic instrumentation.
