Beloved songwriter Gordon Lightfoot's understated, tasteful folk arrangements have made timeless hits of "Sundown," "If You Could Read My Mind," "The Wreck of The Edmund Fitzgerald" and countless others. He has earned five Grammy nominations and 17 Juno Awards in his native Cnada, and was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. After suffering a near-fatal aneurysm in 2002, Lightfoot has fuly recovered and is in fine artistic form as showcased in his 2005 performance at the "Live 8" concert to a packed stadium crowd. Harmony, his 20th album, is a collection of new and previously unreleased songs.
