An Evening with Gov't Mule
Saturday, September 12, 2009 • 7 p.m.
Southern rock/jam band Gov't Mule (pronounced Government Mule) formed in 1994 as an Allman Brothers Band side project. Founded by Warren Haynes, the late Allen Woody and Matt Abts, the band has built an extensive evolving body of work and a devoted fan base. This year, bassist Jorgen Carlsson joins the band as its newest member. Since its inception, Gov't Mule has released eight studio albums, sold over a million albums and over 1.5 million downloads on its website, and received a Grammy nomination. Warren Haynes also toured this spring with The Dead, playing lead guitar.

Reviews:
that was one of the top 5 of britt shows i’ve seen. The band came accross better live than on their records. Warren Haynes put his talent on full display covering the beatles ’hendrix and c.s.n.y. with {almost cut my hair] as a encore. Thanks for the show and bring them back soon
