Best known for his work with the band Primus, Les Claypool's mastery of the electric bass has earned him respect as one of rock's premier bass talents. Through various projects he has played the roles of alt-rock personality (Primus), bandleader (Colonel Claypool's Fearless Flying Frog Brigade) and capable sideman. Claypool mixes finger-tapping, flamenco-like strumming and a slap technique to create his unique, funky playing style. He is equally famous for his wacky sense of humor and eccentric personality. "When you say I'm getting weirder, I get it," says Claypool. "But to me, it feels like I'm becoming more and more honest." His latest album is Of Fungi And Foe.

Yard Dogs Road Show
The Yard Dogs Road Show is a hobo cabaret—a living patchwork of vaudeville and rock ‘n' roll. Formed eight years ago, the creators of Yard Dogs Road Show took inspiration from the saloon vaudeville that toured the Wild West in the late 1800s, and slammed that idea into the underworld of modern American road culture. The show includes sword swallowers, dancing dolls, fire eaters and sunset hobo poetry, all animated by the live sounds of the Yard Dogs cartoon heavy band. The enchanting entertainment is pure visual and sonic voodoo.

Reviews:
First time I’ve seen either of these groups. My one BIG DISAPPOINTMENT !!! is with the Britt Organization.
Their statement that the lawn in front of the stage was not going to be sold, so that there would be dancing room. Well, even before the show there was blankets and such all over that lawn.
May I make a suggestion: enforce what you tell us, keep the lawn free of blankets, coolers ect, and make a a true dance floor.
You do a good job of keeping the isles open, do the same on the lawn.
THE SHOW WAS GREAT I LOVED IT !!!!
Hi McLane,
Sorry for the confusion. Our statement was actually that we wouldn’t sell reserved blankets in front of the stage, because we expected dancing, and instead keep the entire area open for general admission lawn seating. Normally we do have reserved blankets areas for in front, and additional blankets available as a member benefit. The front area always has some general admission seating— for this concert, we opened the whole area up to general admission.
Glad you enjoyed the concert!
Thanks, Sara King Cole, Britt Festivals
