Perfect music for a picnic under the stars, this program
features an array of favorite curtain raisers. Familiar tunes and an opportunity
to hear the 1812 Overture makes this a great night to gather with friends and
enjoy the thrill of a live orchestra.
Join Geoffrey Riley, Jefferson Exchange Host at Jefferson Public Radio, in the lower Britt gardens at 7 p.m. for a Q&A with trombonist James Decker and composer Samuel Jones.

Reviews:
The Mozart and the trombone solo were enjoyable. The rest of the program seemed lackluster, especially in the opening Brahms and the Tchaikovsky where the brass sounded very restrained.
