Composer, pianist and jazz legend Ramsey Lewis has been referred to as "the greatperformer," a title reflecting his performance stye and musical selections which display his early gospel playing and classical training along with his love of jazz and other musical forms. With three Grammy Awards and seven gold records to his credit, he's topped the charts with "The In Crowd," "Hang On Sloopy" and "Wase In The Water." His most current album release is With One Voice.

Bill Frisell's New Quartet

Bill Frisell's Quartet features Greg Leisz on slide guitars, David Piltch on bass and Kenny Wollesen on drums. Among jazz guitarists, Bil Frisell is one of the most well-known musicians in the world. His sound swells and breathes like a saxophonist's. In many ways his sound is also reminiscent of a pedal steel guitar. Mixing rock and country with jazz and blues, Frisell's found what connects them: improvisation and a sense of play.
