Born and raised in Eureka, 31-year old pop singer-songwriter Sara
Barellies is already no stranger to global success. Her 2007
major-label debut Little Voice went platinum on the strength of the
massive global hit “Love Song,” which also garnered Grammy nominations
for Song of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Barellies’
newest album Kaleidoscope Heart, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and
earned critical praise. Allmusic’s Stephen Thomas Erlewine said of
Heart, “…her effortless music should not be taken for granted; it’s
tough to write tunes that play this easy that wind up enduring.”
Joshua Radin is a uniquely word-of-mouth global success story whose latest release – The Rock and The Tide – earned Radin the #1 spot on the iTunes Alternative Chart. Radin’s big break came when the television show Scrubs included one of his early compositions in the series, and subsequently his material has been used in countless other programs and series including Grey’s Anatomy, House, American Idol and One Tree Hill. Radin’s songs are warm, easygoing and show his earnest admiration for the folk-rock footsteps he’s following through the pop music landscape.
