The Britt Institute is offering an exciting afternoon with up and coming jazz artists Devon Yesberger and The Yesberger Band. The jazz trio will be holding a master class at Artistic Piano. Devon and The Yesberger Band will discuss songwriting, band dynamics and what it is like breaking into the music business.
The Yesberger Band is a dynamic trio of Berklee musicians playing their hand at the pop jazz scene. Devon Yesberger just finished his first year at the Berklee College of Music in Boston on a full tuition scholarship. During high school, Devon was a finalist for the Gibson/Baldwin Grammy Jazz Ensemble and a participant in All-Northwest Jazz Program from his sophomore year on."
In addition, Britt has adopted the jazz trio into its new Artists-in-Residence Program. The Yesberger Band will also open for Bobby McFerrin later this evening.
When: Friday, July 15, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Artistic Piano, located at 1390 Biddle Road, Suite 102 – in the ‘Barnes and Noble” Plaza.
