Gypsy Soul at Britt!

Local band Gypsy Soul will be making their second performance at Britt this season. They have been hailed as "one of the most brilliantly and vocally adept bands alive and kicking," by the OC Weekly. As the Rogue Valley's own local indie duo, Gypsy Soul's music is a powerful blend of folk/rock and soul with a generous infusion of blues and jazz. Cilette Swann provides ethereal and passionate vocals, while multi-instrumentalist Roman Morykit adds the counterpoint with his masterful fretless bass performances and innovative guitar play. Gypsy Soul is excited about returning to Britt this season and here is what they had to say.

"Almost a year after our performance on the Britt Pavilion stage, the excitement and joy is still very tangible for us," says Morykit and Swann. "We had an amazing night (last year) and can still feel the intensity of love and support from the audience. The sounds and the lights were impeccable. The staff and facility are top notch where everyone does their best to create a magical experience for the musicians and the fans. Truly a beautiful environment for creative expression and making lasting connections," they said.
