Oompa-Loompas at Britt Pavilion

There were Oompa-Loompas all over the Britt hill last night at the Jacksonville Elementary School musical! I was so impressed by the talent of the students! They were wonderful. The hard work that went into the show by Wendi Stanek and Jim Finnegan, both teachers at the school, was very evident.

What was so amazing was the list of parents and community members printed in the program that helped put the show together. How neat it is to have all of these people so committed to this experience for the children of Jacksonville.

I really enjoyed the show and hope that the Medford School District won't cut the funding on music education in the elementary schools because I can't wait to go and see the Jacksonville Elementary School's musical next year!
