They are known for the unbridled energy, humor and transcendence they bring to each performance. The Chicago Tribune says of the quartet, "The Arianna Quartet makes music with the tonal warmth, fastidious balance and heightened communication skills of groups many years its senior." The Arianna Quartet is also the faculty quartet-in-residence for Britt Institute's String Quartet Academy.
Special guest Anton Nel, winner of 1987 Naumburg International Piano Competition, joins the Arianna String Quartet to perform Dohnányi's Piano Quintet. Highlights of Nel's career include performances with the Cleveland Orchestra and the symphonies of Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Detroit and London. The New York Times describes Nel as, "An uncommonly elegant pianist."
