In its sixth year, the “Best of Britt” is a popular Britt extravaganza featuring a fun-filled evening of food, spirits and music on the Britt hill. Tickets are $125 per person, and include a premium reserved seat to the concert, food from ten local restaurants, wine from ten local wineries and beer from Western Beverage. The evening is rounded out with a Live Auction of tempting packages that include special concert tickets, backstage dinners, a guitar signed by the 2017 performers and many other Britt centric offerings, plus a “paddle call,” which will help support Britt’s music education and engagement programs, including fellowships, workshops, school residencies and free children’s concerts.
The evening will be topped off with a rollicking concert by Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox.
The best thing about the Best of Britt is that proceeds from this event go directly to our education programs. We work hard year-round to provide students of all ages throughout the area with high quality performing arts instruction through specialized workshops, music appreciation programs, residencies and more. By attending this event, your support can provide a scholarship for a deserving student to attend one of our workshops or help offset annual costs for instructors, travel, music rental and more.

The only drawback to a Postmodern Jukebox concert is that, like all good things, it must come to an end. Not to worry, though – PMJ has become a traveling band of throwback minstrels, so by the time your high has worn off from one show it’ll be time to start getting excited for our next visit!
And as any PMJ fan can tell you, the experience is never the same twice, with new songs, new sounds, and new members added to the ever-growing family each time around.
Sure, PMJ originally blew up online, with new videos added weekly that keep finding creative new ways to put creator Scott Bradlee’s trademark vintage twist on modern pop hits. But it’s onstage that the project has really come to shine, playing hundreds of shows to sold-out houses across the globe, from intimate standing-room gigs to large-scale, theatrical extravaganzas.
But don’t take our word for it. After one recent show, MusicInsight.com raved, “Go see Postmodern Jukebox. Stop whatever you’re doing, right now, and go see them!”
Each time around, PMJ looks forward to bringing their unique spin on modern pop hits and retro pop stylings to new cities for the first time while revisiting favorite haunts that welcome them back with eagerly open arms. Missed them the last time around? Don’t make that mistake again – just keep an eye on [link for searching by city] to be sure you’re part of the in crowd next time around.
As the Houston Press proclaimed, “Scott Bradlee’s project has turned into a worldwide phenomenon in quite a small amount of time, having sold out shows in more than 60 countries around the world – and rightly so.”
