George
Thorogood and his band the Destroyers came out of Delaware in the ‘70s
as a jarringly high-energy bunch with raucous, slide guitar-stoked,
blues-rock tunes. Their album Move It On Over struck big and success continued with records including Bad to the Bone and Born to Be Bad with the hit, "You Talk Too Much." The single "Get a Haircut" and blockbuster albums followed into the new millennium with Ride ‘Til I Die and a compilation, Greatest Hits: 30 Years of Rock. Their newest album, Hard Stuff, contains covers of tracks by John Lee Hooker, Jimmy Reed and Fats Domino as well as Thorogood originals.

Buddy Guy

Buddy Guy is a Rock ‘n' Roll Hall of Fame inductee and the purveyor of a stinging, attacking electric guitar style and wild, impassioned vocals. He realized smashing Grammy success in the ‘90s with Damn Right, I've Got the Blues, Feels Like Rain and Slippin' In. Subsequent releases like Live: The Real Deal, Heavy Love and 2001's Sweet Tea demonstrated that Guy, while firmly ensconced in his blues roots, has always tried to keep his music looking forward. And now, he continues with Bring ‘Em In, which finds Guy trading licks with the likes of Carlos Santana ("I Put A Spell On You") and John Mayer ("I've Got Dreams to Remember").
