Formed in 1992, G. Love & Special Sauce is known for their unique, laid-back hip-hop blues sound that encompasses the sound production of classic R&B and rap artists like the Beastie Boys. On the latest release Lemonade, the Philadelphia native G. Love (Garrett Dutton) delivers his loping lilt with bone-humming honesty. Lemonade includes collaborations with Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Marc Broussard and Donovan Frankenreiter.

 John Butler Trio

The eclectic roots/jam band The John Butler Trio is a significant part of the Australian musical landscape, with two albums having gone platinum there. In 2002, John Butler co-founded the independent record label Jarrah Records with the folk/pop group The Waifs.
