Todd Barton is a perpetual explorer of new sounds and music. Former Director of Composition Studies for the Music Department at Southern Oregon University and Resident Composer Emeritus for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Todd is currently Consulting Artist for Buchla Electronic Musical Instruments, performing solo electronic music around the US and tutoring film composers, sound designers and electronic musicians around the world on the fine points of Buchla Musical Instruments. Todd has recently released 4 albums of original electronic music, including with Bruce Bayard the ensemble CD of Music for Easels.
Bruce Bayard has exhibited two-dimensional art throughout the west coast, including one-person exhibitions at the Couturier Gallery in Los Angeles, the Governor’s Office in Salem, and the Schneider Museum of Art in Ashland. He produced the “It’s About Dance” festivals at the Craterian Theater. His current interest is time-based image collage, video, and soundscapes. In 2012–2013, he produced two series of multimedia performances with Todd Barton. The two artists currently collaborate on monthly quadraphonic sound concerts at the Schneider Museum of Art, and biannual multimedia performances at the DanceSpace in Ashland.
