The T Sisters, born and raised in California and now based in the creative hub of Oakland, embody harmony. It’s in their blood, bones, and history. Erika, Rachel and Chloe have been singing and writing music together since childhood, and the lifetime of practice shows.
The three sisters’ inventive songwriting is supported by their own acoustic instrumentation as well as upright bass (Steve Height), mandolin/guitar (Andrew Allen Fahlander), and drums. Their sound represents a continuum of music, from traditional to pop influences, moments of breathtaking a cappella to swells of energetic indie Americana.
Hollis Peach, a folk duo based out of Ashland, pulls inspiration from the folk revival of the '60s and '70s, contemporary indie & psych folk, americana, and gospel. Hollis Peach relies on well-crafted songs that showcase their timeless and provocative lyrics, passionate and dynamic musicianship, and velvety colorful harmonies. The two members (Dan Sherrill and Jacqui Aubert) come from Pennsylvania originally, and are founding members of another folk-band from Ashland, Patchy Sanders. Hollis Peach carries this experience into their new musical project. Captivating song themes include dreams, after-life, wild-lands, stream-of-conciousness and an adventurous cover or two.
