Britt Festivals is a private non-profit organization. All fees are based on actual operating costs; financial aid is made possible through donated scholarship funds. Aid awards are based on financial need, talent and the needs of the program. Students must apply and submit financial aid applications at the same time they submit the camp application. Financial aid awards are highly competitive. We encourage students to seek additional scholarship funding from their home communities.
You may apply for financial aid online. The maximum award is 50% of camp fees. You will be notified of your award amount in May.
The fees for all Britt Institute students have been significantly reduced from the actual cost through the generosity of many foundations, corporations and individuals. Major funding was provided in 2009 by the generous
support of Britt Society, Pacific Power Foundation, Safeco Insurance Foundation, State Farm Insurance Companies, the West Family Foundation and the Oregon Arts commission and
the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
