2012 BRITT CLASSICAL SEASON: July 31-August 19

Auditions are by recording through a blind audition process. Your inquiry will be acknowledged.

RECORD THE FOLLOWING:

I. Solo:
•Any two contrasting movements from a Bach Cello Suite (omit repeats)

II. Excerpts from the following works:
•Beethoven, Symphony No. 5, 2nd movement: ms. 1 - 10; ms. 98 - 106, 3rd movement: ms. 1-19; ms. 141 - 177
•Mozart, Symphony No. 39, 4th movement: ms. 115 - 137

Auditions will only be accepted electronically. They must be mp3 or .wav files (please convert files to one of these formats before you submit)

Each required element/excerpt should be a separate track.

No names, photos or other personal information should be apparent on the recording excerpt—only the composer's last name or other necessary detail to identify the excerpt.

Please check your recording for volume and quality before submitting. Inaudible or poor quality recordings, or auditions that do not meet the above requirements will not be considered.
