Visual Arts Curriculum
For use with Music in the Mornings™
This enhancement program was designed by Britt's Education Director and educators as a tool to assist teachers in accomplishing their benchmarks in visual arts while using Music in the Mornings™. This updated Visual Arts Curriculum includes 21 lesson plans, each of which take just five minutes a day. The coordinated art/music lessons provide the opportunity for students to create everything from a collaged CD cover for Vivaldi's Spring (pictured) to a mask for Mozart's The Magic Flute. All 80 schools currently participating in Music in the Mornings™ were provided with the inital "Five times Five equals 25" curriculum, which included 9 lessons, in 2006.
