“The California Honeydrops…evoke the greasy rumble of Booker T and channel the spiritual ecstasy of Sly and the Family Stone.” – Rolling Stone
Formed in the subway systems of Oakland, retro-soul outfit The California Honeydrops are an electrifying group that defy convention at every turn. They’ve become a mainstay at festivals including Byron Bay Bluesfest (Australia), Outside Lands, Monterey Jazz, Lightning In A Bottle, and touring with B.B. King, Dr. John, Bonnie Raitt, Buddy Guy, and Allen Toussaint. Led by the enigmatic and energetic frontman, Lech Wierzynski, and percussionist Benjamin Malament, each member of the band is a virtuoso in their own rite — Yanos “Johnny Bones” Lustig on saxophone, Lorenzo Loera on keyboards/guitar, Beaumont Beaullieu on drums, Miles Blackwell on bass, and regularly accompanied by Oliver Tuttle on trombone, Leon Cotter on saxophone/clarinet, and Miles Lyons on trombone/sousaphone — navigating through a vast repertoire of original songs and timeless classics every night. But what truly sets them apart is their unwavering commitment to the art of improvisation – a skill so finely honed that they have completely abandoned the use of set lists and no two shows are ever the same. Off stage, their music has been streamed more than 200 million times, and placed in a variety of TV and films, including “Dead To Me,” “Alaska Daily,” “Black-ish” and more. They are currently touring North America in support of their new album, ‘Keep On Diggin’.
Opening Artist: Raining Jane

Raining Jane is Mai Bloomfield, Becky Gebhardt, Chaska Potter, and Mona Tavakoli. The four have been making music together and making a social impact for two decades, releasing four albums independently, collaborating extensively with Jason Mraz, touring the globe, and co-founding a music education non-profit.
Based in California, Raining Jane started out performing at small venues in Los Angeles. After graduating college, they ventured out of state, gaining prominence in the national college market and opening for Sara Bareilles. Self-booked and self-managed, they cut their teeth by crisscrossing the U.S. in their van and trailer, playing 120 shows annually and coming into their own musically during this time.
Vocal harmonies are a centerpiece of the Raining Jane sound, along with eclectic instrumentation including cello, cajon, sitar, ukulele, lap steel, percussion, bass, and guitar. It was at a college show in 2006 when Raining Jane met Jason Mraz, marking the beginning of a new collaboration.
Instant musical alchemy and deep philosophical kinship have led Raining Jane and Jason Mraz to amass an ever-growing catalog of co-written songs, starting with “A Beautiful Mess” (2008), followed by 2014’s Yes! featuring 11 co-writes (including “Love Someone”), and then the certified Platinum single “Have It All” (2018), plus several co-writes on Look for the Good (2020). Mraz’s 2023 album, Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride features Raining Jane as co-writers and the album band. In 2023 and 2024 they toured with Jason Mraz as part of his Superband, celebrating the new record.
Raining Jane is a mission-driven band, fueled by a desire to use music to build community, facilitate social change, and bring joy and beauty into the world. One of their proudest accomplishments as a band is the co-founding and ongoing leadership of Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls Los Angeles, a non-profit dedicated to empowering girls and gender-expansive youth through music.
