Since the beginning of his career, Mitchell Tenpenny has worked tirelessly to build and support his fan base with a steady stream of new music. He increased the flow of new music during the pandemic and his fans have responded by soaring his career on-demand stream and he was recently recognized for surpassing the One Billion streams threshold, currently with 1.5 Billion global streams.
His new album This Is The Heavy contains the platinum-selling #1 hit “Truth About You.” Mitchell made chart history with the song late last year by landing the shortest span between #1 songs in the modern chart era with just three weeks since his last chart topper, the co-penned collaboration with labelmate Chris Young, “At The End Of A Bar,” reached #1.
Mitchell is a multi-faceted entertainer: singer, songwriter, producer and performer. Since the release of his debut single, “Drunk Me,” Mitchell has set new standards for breakout success in country music. The 3X Platinum-certified, No. 1 hit that has amassed 667 million total on-demand streams in the US alone and is off his introductory album, Telling All My Secrets, and earned him the best first week showing for any major label country debut LP at the time of its release. Since that time, the “winning” singer (New York Times) has received nominations from the Academy of Country Music and the CMT Awards.
Opening Artist: Daniel Nickels Band
West coast born singer/songwriter Daniel Nickels and his band has been entertaining regional Oregon with his refreshing rockin Americana sound. Most recently Daniel and his band has opened for Clint Black at the Expo and opened before Kelsea Ballerini in 2023 at the Britt festival on the Enfield Stage. Daniel delivers the essential elements of hit Americana and country sounds by infusing his lyrics to evoke strong emotions and vivid imagery of the “Americana dream”. Their musical influences stem from artist such as Jason Isbell, John Mayer, Tom Petty, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Zach Brown Band.
